Add variety in a Math Classroom

Mathematics is an integral part of our life. 
We participated in an online activity by ENO (Environment Online)
The ENO Programme calls schools and parents to study about climate change and observe their meals at school or at work for one week. Theme will crystallize on the ENO Campaign Week 25- 29 April with ENO Meat-Free Monday 25 April 2016.
Activity instructions were posted on their website.

Instructions
Observe your school lunch for one week ( five days ).  You can choose any week in March or April (before week starting Monday 25 April).

1. Each day, take a photo of your meal, from above
2. Depending what's on your plate, calculate points like below:
  • Meat 0 point
  • Chicken 1 point or Fish 2 points
  • Local food (produced in your province/region) 2 points
  • Organic food (producer organic) 2 points
  • Vegetables 4 points (if at least half of plate is vegetables)
  • Vegan 6 points
  • Maximum points per day is 10 ( vegan+organic+local or fish+vegetables+local+organic ). Maximum points are 50.
3. Sum up your points on five days4. Your five photos of lunch plate: make a collage of them.5. Share your collage photo with total points, your name, city and country by email to info@enoprogramme.org or on our Facebook event page

All the students observed their lunch and calculated points as per the given format.
